epgimport werkt niet sinds vti image update 9.0.1 op Solo2

      Weniger ist manchmal mehr!

      Mein Setup: aktuelles VTi Image mit MuteSpectator-MOD Skin. OScam-Update. Plugins: OpenWebIF, GraphMultiEPG, EPGRefresh, EPGImport, EPGSearch, TMDb. Interne HDD 1TB. LAN an Fritz!Box 7580. HD+02. EPG.dat, Picons, Image Backup, und BackUpSuite Daten im Flash. Dur-Line UK-124 Unicable LNB für Astra 19.2E (8 Tuner), Dur-Line UK-124 Unicable LNB für Astra 28,2E (4 Tuner), Inverto IDLB-QUDL42-UNI2L-1PP für Hot Bird 13E (4 Tuner), Dual DVB-C/T2 Tuner. FCC=Off.

    • Sorry voor de late reply maar ben nog steeds aan uitzoeken waarom de epgimport niet correct werkt in de laatste VTI versie.
      Ik ben even teruggekeerd naar versie 8.2.3 en hier laad epgimport de rytec benelux.gz perfect en compleet in.
      Op de laatste versie en laatste updates is deze niet volledig ingeladen. +/- helft van de events niet ingeladen.

      Ik heb ook even met Crossepg geprobeerd en heb eerst een pytho, bestand moeten updaten. Hierna vind hij de Rytec sources maar op ongeveer 75% van de benelux.gz stopt de import.
      Andere worden dan weer wel correct ingeladen maar ook die van UK lijken in beide importers niet te werken.

      Iemand nog een idee? Voorlopig een van de boxen gedown grade naar 8.2.3.

      My box is a VU+ Uno runnimg VTI 9.0.2 and the EPGImport plugin is Ver 1.0-r41



      Except for BBC4 HD and Channel4 HD this plugin is unable to retrieve any other EPG for the Freesat Channels on ASTRA 28.2E



      The EPG logs about 1200 events but these are all listed as "Unknown Channel"



      It doesn't parse anything because it doesn't actually find anything


      Is there any information as to why this is happening?



      Is it a VTI bug or is the problem a Rytec issue?


      I notice that the Rytec website gives gives detailed instructions and downloads for installing XMLTV on Enigma2 boxes

      Has anyone tried that?

    • EPGImport - Fails on Rytec UK TV sources / workaround

      forum languages aside - i had exactly the same problem: almost all uk channels were listed as "unknown".
      it seems the filter is not working properly, maybe because of a single-tuner-configuration, maybe not.

      certainly this is not a fix, but a workaround: i edited /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGImport/EPGConfig.py
      and changed
      if filterCallback(ref):
      into
      if 1 == 1:
      and removed the EPGConfig.pyo and restartet the gui.

      now i have all channels, about 100.000 events - and the epg uses 10mb of memory ;|
