      Wenn ich meoboot auf nem usb stick installiere z.B 4GB Partition und später plugins skins picons usw installiere werden die im internen Flash oder auf dem USB Stick gespeichert?

    • Ja das ist klar ich meine wenn ich BH nutze im Flash und die ganzen Plugins Skins usw installiere werden die im Flash der ja so kleim ist oder auf dem Stick installiert? Bei anderen Images hab ich immer denn Flashexpander benutzt. Oder brauch ich auch hier den Flashexpander wenn ich das BH Image nutze als Hauptsystem

    • Hallo,

      es werden alle Plugins, Picons usw. in den internen Speicher geschrieben. Es sei denn, du lagerst es auf einen Stick aus.

      So ist es ja bei allen Images.

      Bei den älteren Boxen mit wenig Flashspeicher würde ich eh Meoboot oder so benutzen und dann das Image vom Stick aus starten. Dann hast du auch kein Speicherproblem.

      Alternativ eben z.B. Picons auslagern.

      Einfach das BH im Flash installieren und dann nochmal im Meoboot.
      Dann kannst du Plugins installieren bis der Arzt kommt. Ist dann wie ein Flashexspander.

    • Aha alles klar. Dann flashe ich das BH Image dann nochmal in den Stick. Hoffe das System läuft dann gut mit einem USB 3.0 Stick sind zwar 32GB aber kleiner hatte ich nicht als USB 3.0 Variante.
      Kann man die HDD im Menü deaktivieren? Ich hatte gestern das Problem das der USB Stick wo meoboot drauf installiert wurde einfach nicht mehr erkannt bzw gemounted wurde nach paar Neustarts und stattdessen die HDD als media/usb gemounted wurde und komischerweise meoboot ordner auch auf der HDD. Aber so würde sie ja durchgehend laufen und das will ich nicht.

    • Hallo,

      mounte den Stick nach media/usb und die Festplatte nach media/hdd.

      Den Stick kannst du ganz bequem übers Menü (blaue Taste) mounten.

      Anschließend Meoboot installieren. Da wirst du dann auch gefragt, wo (USB Stick oder Festplatte) Meoboot installiert werden soll.

    • Irgendwie klappt das nicht so recht bei mir. Habbe den Stick in 2 Partitionen geteilt und gemountet media/usb und media/mmc1. Die HDD habe ich mit Absicht unmonted sprich not mapped damit sie nicht stört.

      Als ich den Stick partitioniert bzw formatiert hatte kam da irgendein ein Fehler mbr blabla vielleicht damit nicht gestartet werden kann? habs nicht richtig gelesen bzw verstanden. Aber hat trotzdem partitioniert usw. Meoboot auf media/usb installiert also auf den Stick und BH Image auf den Stick installiert. Nach dem erfolgreichen Flash auf angeblich USB startet die Box neu aber Image ist nicht verfügbar auf USB. Ich starte meoboot und was sehe ich schon wieder da die interne HDD wurde schon wieder als media/usb gemountet und der Stick ist nicht mehr da. Ich versteh das nicht.

      Darf ich den Stick nicht partitionieren sonst bootet er nicht? Habe jetzt keine Zeit mehr ich versuche das mal ein anderes mal mit nur eine Partiton die vollen 32GB.

    • Vor zwei Tagen habe ich noch BH und Meoboot installiert.
      Keine Probleme.
      Allerdings mit einem 4GB Stick ohne Partition.

    • Dann muss es an der Partition liegen die Fehlermeldungen kamen ja bestimmt nicht umsonst. Ich werde es beim nächsten mal ohne Partitionieren versuchen

    • Das Problem mit den (grösseren) Stick, plus Meoboot (auch BarryAllen) hatte ich auch.

      Habs dann hinbekommen.

      Der Problem-Stick braucht zum starten/erkennen 2 Partitionen.

      Die erste muss in Fat 32 formatiert sein, 1% von der Stick Grösse (sonst wird der Stick nicht

      erkannt). Diese Partition muss nicht gemounted werden, sondern dient nur zum erkennen des Sticks.

      Die 2.Partition dann mit ext 4.

      Diese muss gemounted werden, und da wird dann Meoboot installiert.

    • Probleme mit Meoboot und Barry Allen auf dem Stick:

      Schritt für Schritt Anleitung für BlackHole Images und MeoBoot.

      Mit der VU+ Duo kann es zu Startproblemen kommen, wenn der Stick nur 1. Partition hat.

      USB Sticks bis 4 GB laufen manches mal auch mit einer Partition.

      Der Fehler, dass das Image mit Meoboot nicht hochfährt, und schon vor dem Gui_Start

      hängen bleibt, liegt daran, dass nicht alle Dateien bei der Installation kopiert werden.

      Der Receiver bricht die Installation vorzeitig ab, Meoboot ist aber dennoch installiert,

      aber wichtige Dateien fehlen. Es wird auch der Stick beim Booten nicht erkannt.

      Nach etlichen Tests hab ich festgestellt, das sich alle BlackHole Image auf Meoboot auch mit

      einer Partition installieren lassen. Nur Andere nicht.

      Die Lösung ist eigentlich ganz einfach.

      Man muss den Stick in zwei Partitionen aufteilen.

      2 Partitionen: 1%vfat, 99% ext4.
      Getestet mit einen 16 GB Stick:

      1. Partition Fat 32 512 MB
      2. Partition ext 4.

      Es muss nur die 2. Partition eingehängt (mounten) werden.

      Das geht über den "USB Format Wizard".

      1.: Fernbedienung 2 mal Blaue Taste, der USB Stick darf noch nicht gesteckt sein.

      2.: Fernbedienung 2 mal Rote Taste, und USB Stick einstecken

      3.: Jetzt noch mal 2 mal Rote Taste, und die Partition (1) wählen und anklicken.

      Warten, bis der Vorgang abgeschlossen ist, dann OK Taste.

      4.: wieder Rote Taste, und 4 "vfat-use only vor medie-files" anklicken,

      mit OK Taste bestätigen. Die Box startet neu.

      5.: Den Schritt von 1 bis 3 Wiederholen (USB Format Wizard), und Partition 2 wählen.

      (Stick also erst wieder nach 2 X Rote Taste einstecken)

      Dort jetzt bei "enter the size in Megabyteof the first partition." mit der

      Fernbedienung 512 eingeben. Mit OK Taste bestätigen, und dann Rote Taste.

      Warten, bis der Befehl beendet ist, und mit OK Taste bestätigen.

      6.: Jetzt wieder auf "continue"(rote Taste) und 3 "ext4 klicken, und OK Taste.

      Warten, bis die Formatierung abgeschlossen ist. Nach der Aufforderung mit
      OK Taste die Box neu starten.

      Der Stick ist jetzt vorbereitet und muss nur noch Eingebunten (mounten) werden.

      1. zwei mal Blaue Taste und "Devices Manager" anklicken.

      (Die erste Partition muss nicht eingebunden werden)

      2.: USB Generic Flash Disk (die größere Partition) wählen, und Rote Taste (Mountpoins) anklicken.

      Der Rest ist selbst erklärend, der Stick kann jetzt für Meoboot verwendet werden.

      Diese Anleitung gilt auch für Barry Allen mit VU+Duo, wenn die Box mit Stick nicht starten will !

      Ich habe mehrere Versionen des CCcam installiert, keine funktioniert. Gibt es etwas besonderes zu beachten? Wäre für Hilfe dankbar. ?-( ;huh: ;?:
