[solved] HDD not recognized after Flash

Hi,

the new VTI image does not recognize my HDD anymore. Up until now all the previous images had no issue in recognizing this HDD (WD10EVDS).

can you please execute the following telnet commands on your box and poste the output here:

ls /dev/sda*[ENTER]

mount[ENTER]

Hava you any additional usb equipment? Then remove it first. Is the harddiks build in?

also my usb is recognized as sdb1

how to be recognised as usb in filesystem?

RealMagic911: I have already rolled back to the previous release.

I had only /dev/sda and /dev/sda1 and that was my usb key.
There was no other /dev/sd* device.

My harddisk was not showing up as a mounted file system (its block device was not created by udev). It is an internal harddisk.

I'll reflash it this evening and troubleshoot some more.

It would be usefull to disconnect the usb stick before booting, just to get sure it isn't affecting something.

Unbelievable, reflashed, removed my usb stick and now it sees my HDD again.
Connected usb, rebooted and now have both.
Works flawlessly so far! Thanks for support, case closed.
