Ich habe meine Vu-Duo und basierend auf den Spezifikationen es shoud Scan Turbo 8 PSK Transponder empfangen.

Ich sah auch in DVB-Treiber-Modul und bcm7335.ko siehe Referenz über:
g_sds_8psk_turbo_modes die Turbo-Scan-Funktionen zu initialisieren, und sollte für mich in Nordamerika arbeiten.

Frage ist, wie kann ich dieses turbo 8 PSK Transponder scannen müssen?

Der Standard DVB-S2 / Turbo 8 PSK bringt keine Ergebnisse.

Zum Beispiel habe ich den Kunden zum sat.xml-Zeile dvb-s2/turbo 8 PSK-Scan:

<transponder frequency="12253000" symbol_rate="21500000" polarization="1" fec_inner="2" inversion="2" modulation="2" system="1" pilot="2" rolloff="0"/>

Just hoping someone will answer - I will try in couple words to describe situation:

I have installed latest VTI image from 30.04.2010 and changed the satellite.xml with transponders including turbo 8psk frequencies. How can I scan those - which settings to I need to use ? enigma2 by default comes with dvb-s2 support so I understand driver is aware of this turbo option. Please help - vu duo+ is wonderful box, speedy, maybe I am missing something in sat.xml to trigger Turbo8PSK scan.

OK...I think I have found more info in bcm-7335.ko module:



how to call this from sat.xml setting ?

for example:
<transponder frequency="12253000" symbol_rate="21500000" polarization="1" fec_inner="2" inversion="2" modulation="2" system="1" pilot="2" rolloff="0"/>

system="0" means dvb-s
system="1" means dvb-s2

which system do I need to put for turbo_tssq_8psk ?

dvb-s2 8psk and dvb-s 8psk does not work with Turbo 8 PSK transponders.

I want to thank to all readers on the thread, I wish someone will be just frank and reply here about requested features before I will sell this box - so I will not be sorry later

edit: after looking closely is there something about enigma2 which does not know about T8psk ?

I found following info in enigma2 sources: how the frontend interacts with the tuner kernel module,

lib/dvb/frontend.cpp
lib/dvb/frontend.h
lib/dvb/frontendparams.h

is this possible to be adapted and used for turbo 8psk modes ?
by adding another option such as T8psk in scanning routine this can be assigned manually using the calls from dvb-bcm7335.ko

if my assumption is correct, which is the right call to use in frontend - i can try and duplicate existent code just need to know the correct call to be used.
