    • VTI problem startup

It 's been about a month on my Vu + Duo img VTI I installed the latest updates with the latest online ...
The image is stable and fast .. use for the EPG the CrossEPG.
However .. from the first day of installation I noticed an exasperatingly slow in boot .. VTI rotating the writing remains for about two minutes before starting the regular decoder.
Intrigued and determined to solve the problem I have monitored the startup of the decoder with telnet .. and I noticed that what determines the slowness is the EPGC making backups ..
Here is the excerpt from the log:

      .
      .
      .
      allocating new converter!

      .
      .
      .
each "allocating new converter!" is written every 3-4 seconds ...

      How can I fix it?

    • Decoders are installed in addition to standard plugins, the crossepg configured to automatically update at 04:00 AM
The channel list is Vhannibal E2, skin DTV-transp
      64MB swapfile on / media / usb
      Other configurations are standard
    • The list of channels Vhannibal is the version motorized.
I mounted a single list (hotbird)
The time to restart the GUI are about 70 sec.

.. Log in previous breaks were concentrated between the words "allocating new converter!" ... and the creation of epg.dat backup.

And 'possible to disable the EPG of VTI? to use only CroosEPG?

    • These epg debug messages are from e2 EPG "system". This includes also your stuff from crossepg.

Delete your epg.dat via VTIPanel => system tools => EPGPanel (be sure that you do not import crosspeg stuff again after GUI restart) and then test again without EPG data
    • After several tests I found that the problem of the slow start of the VTI is related to the channel list.
I use a list for motorized.
The decoder without any list is quick to restart.
Is there any special configuration to solve the problem?
