freez in time shift

Hi,

i have vuplus solo with Vti Ver. 3.1, the 4 gig flash player is mounted as media/usb but i got freez when activate time shift in HD (1080i) channels.
is it some thing wrong or what? anybody knows how to solve this problem?

Fat32 formatted or ext2 formatted
anyhu
4 GB can be filled within half an hour HD television

its FAT32

whats the difference between FAT32 and ext2.
which one is better?

for your watercloset timeshift or 10 minutes of mother in law timeshift
it makes no difference

but any timeshift is limited by the required time : GB and the appropriate medium

ext2 is specially (for linux removable partitions) suitable
fat32 is windows filesystem and has the well known 4 GB limit
(though the stick now / your medium is only 4 GB it doesn't make any difference)

any SD / HD timeshift will stop at 4 GB on a Fat32 stick
any SD / HD timeshift will stop at 4 GB on 4GB stick which is appropriately / approximately 1 hour HD and 1,8 hours SD recording

the USB stick must be at least twice as "big" and use ext2 / ext3 to overcome the 4GB limitations of fat32

linux ~= VU receivers >>>
advice : removable usb should be preferably formatted in ext2 due to the image preferences
