XMLTV updater not working in 0.5

Hi Guys,

Ive just upgraded to VTI 0.5 from 0.3 after my EPG downloads through XMLTVPlugin stopped working. I had installed this plugin manually as instructed on the Rytec website but for some reason a manual update shows it has downloaded program updates but they never show up. This has started happening on both 0.3 and 0.5 VTi images . Anyone know how to fix this or an alternative I can use for EPG updates on VTi?

I'm not shure that this is an VTI issue. So i'd like to ask you if you can test with another image PLZ.

Hi,

I have tested this with the latest Open PLi nightly build and can confirm that EPG updates work.

I dont think i will be able to - have already spent the last 2 evenings messing around going between VTi and PLi for various reasons so dont want to have to do it again - mrs already is getting cross! I have noticed that a epgdat.tmp gets created on my HDD. Does that have to go anywhere? Why have epg updates just stopped all of a sudden?

is this only on sky_uk? - I noticed some issues on sky uk but other sats importing seem to be fine

Regarding sky_uk there was something broken on rytec in the last days.
