Hallo Forum,
"I’m interesting in VU+ duo, but he has some big failures, so I will buy another receiver, if there wont come a REVISION of the VU+ duo soon.
So I will ask you, if you plan to sell a REVISION of the VU+ in near future without the actual biggest failures:
- no recording from deep-standby
- not good, sharp SD-picture/image (current HD is good)
- loud, nearly permanent running fan without temperature-sensitivity
If a revision of the Vu+ duo is planned: when can I buy it?"
+) Antwort heute via Email vom offiziellen Support:
"Three issues you mentioned in your email are known for us.
We are trying to solve these issues for now.
We don’t have a clear schedule for revision of Vu+ DUO for now.
But you will be reported when any news is updated."
+) Draufhin ein weiteres Email von mir heute:
"Do you think the current VU+ can be updated from you to solve the three mentioned mainproblems (no recording from deep-standby; not good, sharp SD-picture/image; loud, nearly permanent running fan without temperature-sensitivity) with ...
a) software-update, or
b) small extra hardware-update for the current VU+, or
c) current VU+ wont be able and so I should wait for your new (hardware)-revisioned receiver (VU+ DUO 2 ;-)?
Do you honest recommend me to buy the current VU+ version or do you think it's quite better for me to wait for the total new revisioned model of VU+ DUO?"
+) Finale Emailantwort vom offiziellen Support heute:
"We have to modify hardware to solve three issues you mentioned.
As you might guess it will definitely need some time.
So my answer is C.
We have a plan to promote new Vu+ duo around November.
But it is a plan and can be changed at any time."
