Hi
Can someone please help me get the ORF programs working?
First, I hope it’s OK to write here in English, but Please do reply in German, I can speak and understand German very well, but I thought I’d save you all from seeing all my terrible written German grammar mistakes
I’m British and have lived in Austria for many years, I pay my Austrian GIS fees and have a ORF digital card that has been working fine in a Cryptoworks module in my old, and well liked,“VU+ Deluxe Duo Twin” that I bought way back in 2012.
The ORF card has been updated a year or two ago and has been working well, the card is in new style with a serial number starting with P410……
I have just now replaced my old (broken) VU+ Duo with a new VU+ Duo 4K SE 1x DVB-S2X FBC Twin Tuner
I put the same module in the lower slot (slot 1) but all the ORF channels just remain black. There are no error messages.
Here is my setup:
I have 2 sat cables plugged into Tuner A in the new VU+ Duo 4K SE. Both cables seem to be working.
All the other Free German channels SD and HD work fine. I can record one channel while watching another channel for example.
The box is connected to internet via a LAN cable
Although I have not changed the image the VTi 15.0 image was already installed on the new VU+ box and I updated it to the latest version
VTi Team image Rel 15.0.0
Version 2021-02-08-vti-master(9849f8edd), build 2020-09-21
2TB HDD WDC WD20SPZX-110
Module: CryptoWorks TechniCrypt CW, TechniSat
ORF card Irdeto Ser. Nr. P410……. ORF Digital Sat Karte HD
In the VU+ menu when I select Common interface I can click on “Reset” , “Init”, “Init Module”, but nothing happens? It does not say that it has done any of those things? And there is no OK button to confirm that it should start the reset or init ?
In the Common interface assignment menu I added the ORF programs
It does say on that same menu "no CAId selected" ? and if I click the blue button “Select CAId” it just shows an empty screen ?
I am probably overlooking something quite simple, any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks
Trevor
