      and then nothing more happens.

if i try with a USB update.. the following happens:

      See attached txt file.

it seems that my internal "disk" is somehow corrupt, any idea to get this box up and running again? can i run a boot disk on an external usb? and ignore the internal "disk"

      thanks for any comments.

    • Hmm; according to the log file you've attached, to me it looks like the flash might be defective:

      Quellcode

      1. [ 10.315108] mmcblk0: error -110 sending status command, retrying
      2. [ 10.323170] mmcblk0: error -110 sending status command, retrying
      3. [ 10.331213] mmcblk0: error -110 sending status command, aborting
      4. [ 10.337238] end_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 0
      5. [ 10.342653] Buffer I/O error on device mmcblk0, logical block 0

I might be totally wrong, but...

    • That's the main problem with eMMC. Cheap to produce, large memory but no ECC correction function. If it goes bad, your goose is coocked! Hopefully still under waranty...
