      Wie schon im Kaufberatungsthread VU+ Ultimo 4k DVB-C berichtet ist vor wenigen Tagen meine Duo2 beim Bootvorgang im bunten VuDuo2 Bild (Display) hängen geblieben. Jetzt vor wenigen Stunden im Standby so dass am Display die Uhrzeit stehen blieb und auch keine Netzwerkverbindung mehr möglich war.
      Habe jetzt mal so nachgelesen was anderen geraten wurde und bin auf das SmartCTL Tool von @rdamas gestoßen Bei Aufnahmen immer wieder pixelbildung, und wollte damit die Platte testen.
      Es wird mir dann dev/sda dev/sdb und dev/sdc angeboten. Laut Gerätemanager sind sda und sdc die usb Sticks und sdb die HD. Allerdings kann ich im Tool die sdb nicht auswählen, da springt die Auswahl drüber? Muss ich die HD erst aushängen?
      Derzeit teste ich sie mit der Testfunktion im Gerätemanager, das wird wohl recht lang laufen.
      Meine Befürchtung ist aber, dass es etwas anderes ist. Vor etwa einem Monat dürfte es bei einer Userin das Netzgerät gewesen sein, dass auch zu Hängern führte.
      Crashlog gab es übrigens keinen, habe jetzt debugging ins File mal eingeschaltet, wo wird dann der debuglog hingeschrieben?

    • Sollte auch gehen, wenn die Platte nicht eingehängt ist.

      Du kannst das auch auf der Kommandozeile ausführen, für den Anfang einfach einmal "smartctl -a /dev/sdb" eingeben. Wie die Attribute interpretiert werden, findest du z.B. bei Wikipedia: S.M.A.R.T - dort der 5. Punkt "Auswertung".
      Diskutiere nie mit einem Idioten. Er zieht dich auf sein Niveau runter und schlägt dich mit seiner Erfahrung.

      Der Festplattentest hat nur geschrieben, dass er erfolgreich beendet wurde.

      So jetzt muss ich mir das mal im Detail mit dem Wiki Artikel durchschauen.
    • Die angezeigten Fehler kannst du wohl ignorieren, weil nur zweimal passiert. Die Attribute sehen auch alle ok aus. Soll heißen: deine Platte glaubt nicht, dass sie ein Problem hat.

    • Danke fürs durchsehen!!! Naja bisher ist sie auch zweimal hängen geblieben, aber der Zeitraum passt nicht.
      Die hohe Temperatur ist wohl wegen dem Check. Hmm.. meine Befürchtung dass etwas anderes Probleme macht scheint sich leider zu festigen.
      Festplatte zum Tausch hätte ich schon hier gehabt...

    • Hier für Leser die ähnliche Probleme haben:
      Ich habe in der Zwischenzeit FanControl2 installiert und nach diversen Tipps hier im Forum eingestellt. (Ich dachte ich hätte FanControl2 schon laufen, aber ist wohl einmal bei der Neuinstallation des Images verloren gegangen)
      Ich möchte es nicht verschreien, aber seitdem FanControl2 läuft - und das mit höheren Umdrehungen als vorher, ist die Temperatur konstant niedriger und eigentlich kein Problem mehr.

      Wichtig das Standard Plugin Fancontrol (manualfancontrol) vorher deinstallieren dann FanControl2 installieren und danach muss noch einen Neustart geben - sonst stören sich die beiden Plugins.
