The violet blocks in the top left of the screen is the so called "SPINNER".
The SPINNER is diesplayed when the box has to wait for an unavailable ressource.
In most cases this is a problem with network access.
Examples:
The box needs to access a file server, which is not available.
The box tries to load data from the internet (like weather information) which is not available.
Solution:
Check the network connection.
Check which service from the network is used. -

When we post URLs, you have to follow the links.
In post 16 @Dieter59 gave you an URL to the Wiki page explaining how to activate the debug log.
Unfortunately, the Wiki is in German only.
You have to activate the debug log on the box in the VTI System settings menu.
I can't tell the exact menu item, as I don't know how it is called in other languages than German.
After actiavtion of the debug log, reboot the box.
Then wait, until the problem shows up and you see the spinner boxes.
Then you can go to /media/hdd, there you'll find the debug log file.

in which picture did you show your debug log settings?
-
which showed on this link Einstellungen - System – Vu+ WIKI

If there are no debug-log files in /media/hdd, you didn't configure it correctly.
You must
- switch debug log on
- debug output = file
- switch debug log on
