If i put .srt subtitle with the same name as movie, movie doesnt want to start!

SRT subtitle support would be great because many people around Europe are using .srt or .sub subtitles!

      hello OldSkulRide,

Did you find a way to get the subtitles function? I hav 1.5 TB of mkv films all with str files. some of them function and some of them not. I do not know the reason. Do you?
    • .srt Subtitels are still not supported.

Is there any chance, we will be able to watch movies with .srt subtitles as new images develop?
Or no chance due to hardware limitations?
    • I don't think that there is a hadware limitation causing srt not to work. But i also think: If srt will be fixe it will take some time until srt will work, because there are some generall things to be fixed before.

    • Did anybode try to convert subtitle in UTF-8 format before using it ina box (i know from DM boxes thath is required to properly display it with movie).
Simply use notepad2 for converting and save it at end.

    • I can confirm that srt subtitles work, even
šž letters work but you need to convert subtitle to UTF-8 using Notepad 2. Notepad ++ doesnt convert properly!!!
