    Hallo zusammen,

    folgendes Problem:

    Meine Solo² hat sich im Normalbetrieb aufgehängt und startet seit dem letzten Hard Reset (Hauptschalter Gehäuserückseite) nicht mehr komplett auf.
    Sie bleibt im VT Splash Screen hängen und im Display der Einheit steht dauerhaft "Starting..."
    Flashen über USB geht nicht, da die Aufforderung zum Flsahen nicht kommt.
    Ich habe mich per Seriellem Kabel auf die Einheit gepackt und folgendes geloggt (ich habe für den Test die Festplatte und USB Stick abgezogen):

    Sieht für mich aus, als ob der Flash Speicher einen Schuss hat.
    Gibt es von euch Tips und Erfahrungen bei einem solchen Verhalten ?

  • Ich glaube nicht, dass der Flash einen Fehler hat.
    Der Framebuffer kann nicht angesprochen werden. Der wird vom enigma2-Prozess benötigt.
    Deswegen wird der Prozess immer neu gestartet, bis das System keine neuen Prozesse mehr erlaubt.
    Warum der Framebuffer nicht ansprechbar ist, kann ich nicht sagen...
  • Habe ein ähnlich geartetes Problem. Solo2 bleibt im VuTi Startbildschirm nach dem Einschalten hängen, Display an der Box zeigt "Starting". Zugriff über Telnet, SSH o.ä. gescheitert. Flashen habe ich mit 6 verschiedenen USB-Sticks versucht, keiner davon funktionierte. Bin mit meinem Latein am Ende.

  • Achja, das letzte was ich weiss, und das ist sicher mein Verschulden: Kurz vor dem Problem zeigte mir VTI noch das jüngste Update vom 29.11.18 an, das ich auch durchgeführt habe. Mir wurden noch 3 MB freier Flashspeicher angezeigt, was natürlich ein Risiko war. Danach fuhr die Box nicht mehr hoch.

  • Mir geht es genau so. Ich kann auf die Box auch nicht über das Netzwerk zugreifen.

    @Excem: Wie hast Du denn das Upgrade über SSH gemacht? Ohne Netzwerkzugriff???
    Wenn ich eine Frage habe, dann will ich Euch nicht veräppeln. Ich habe wirklich keine Ahnung ?(

  • Manchmal macht man 99 Mal alles richtig, und beim 100. Mal drückt man auf Ja anstatt auf Nein. Dämlich, und ein Anfängerfehler, der einem VU+ Besitzer, der sein Gerät schon fast 5 Jahre hat, nicht mehr passieren sollte. Asche auf mein Haupt.

    Danke für den Ratschlag. Ich werde das morgen auf jeden Fall nach der Schritt für Schritt Anleitung machen und hier Bericht erstatten.
