in Ultimo 4k I’ve tried to use the PIP with 2 channels from 2 different CI+, but it isn’t working.
Services are assigned to the respective CI+.
Once activated the PIP, the second channel is correctly decrypted while the first one stops to decrypt.
I’ve noticed that the use of PIP isn’t possible among channels from the same CI+ because of the limitation to a single stream decided by the provider.
Instead I’d like to figure out why isn’t working between 2 CI+, is it a hardware limit?
I also don’t know if the same happens with 2 CI and so if the issue is related (or not) to the CI+.
For the same reason, I assume that recording a channel assigned to a CI+ is not possible while watching/recording a channel assigned to the other CI+. In this case, it would be necessary to record the channel as “encrypted”, right?
