      Hallo liebe Vu+ Freunde,


      Folgendes Problem bzw. Sachverhalt. Wir besitzen bei uns zu Hause seit 2-3 Monaten eine Vu+ Ultimo 4K Box und sind damit mehr als zu Frieden. Das VTI Image 13.0.9 ist installiert und alle Updates aktuell.


      Nachdem
      in einigen Wochen jetzt ein neuer Fernseher(4K) angeschafft werden
      soll, wollte ich 4K Material auf meiner Box testen. Nach Auswahl der
      Datei, führt dies direkt zum Absturz der Vu+
      ohne den Film abzuspielen. Nachdem sich die Box relativ schnell wieder
      ein Bild ausgibt, startet sich die Box nicht komplett neu, sondern
      meiner Meinung nach nur die Oberfläche. Soweit ich weis sollte die Ultimo 4K H.265/HEVC in 4K abspielen können oder gibt es hier doch noch weitere Spezifikationen, die beachtet werden müssen. Das Videoformat ist mkv. 1080p mkv mit 264. Kodierung funktioniert ohne Probleme.

    • Das Problem ist, dass MKV ein Container Format ist und beliebig mit verschiedenen Parametern die Filme umgewandelt werden können und beim Abspielen der MKV Filme zu Problemen führen kann. Der gleiche MKV Film führt dazu -> Der eine Fernseher spielt nur den Ton ab, der andere Fernseher spielt nur den Film ohne Ton ab, der andere Fernseher spielt es erst gar nicht ab weil es das Format nicht kennt bzw. gleich abstürzt usw. usw.. Bei MKV ist kein fester Standard vorgegeben und daher immer zu Problemen führen kann!

    • Danke für die rasche Antwort. Wenn ich deinen Text richtig verstanden habe bedeutet das, dass ich einen mkv Film in 4K wohl nie auf einer Vu+ Ultimo 4K zum Abspielen bringen werde obwohl dieser die H.265/HEVC Spezifikation erfüllt?
