      Hi,

      I try to use samba / cifs to share my hdd with other boxes but not working.

      I searching network but my Ulktimo4k is not available in network and unable to set up user and pass to share my hdd in network.

      2. 2633 pts/0 S+ 0:00 grep smbd
      Just try to search the network area, even without hdd. You will see that Your box is unable to find and unable to set up user and pass for share the box.

      I just checked on Solo4k to search the network area to share something on this box and the same problem with samba. I think this is general problem with samba on VTi.

    • Attach your smb.conf .

      You can try to reinstall the samba-server with VTI-Zer0 .

      Ping and the exploring working.

      My file browser asking for user & pass but user: root and my pass do not work.

      The problem is I can't set up user and pass for samba.
