I want to control the vu+ ultimo 4k with Alexa Echo using Logitech Harmony hub. I know that there is an alexa skill called vu box connector , but i can not download it where I live. it works only in Germany. That is why I need the Harmony Hub. but before I buy it I want to make sure the the Hub works for Vu+ Ultimo 4K specifically. pls confirm that the the Hub works for the reciever vu+ Ultimo 4k. Hi, I purchased my Vu+ultimo 4k in August ,2017 from Germany. It is VU+Ultimo 4k 1xDVB-S2 FBC Twin Tuner PVR ready linux reciever UHD 2160 p 13000-579> Does this model works with Logitech Harmony Hub alone without the harmony remote. I want to use the Harmony Hub so that I can control my Vu+Ultimo 4k by voice using Amazon Alexa Echo which I already have. Any help / advice will be highly appreciated. I do not wont to buy the Harmony Hub to discover later that it will not work with Vu + Ultimo 4k>…

Hi I live in Jordan, Middle East and have both Vu+ Ultimo 4K and Alex Echo 2nd generation. Am extremely interested in Vu Box Connector skill and wud like to download it. I tried but I always got an answer that the skill is not available for your country. Is there a way to use this skill in Jordan outside Germany? Pls help TIA

1/ can you pls recommend an image for server Ultimo 4k and another image for client vu+duo 2/ Do I have to install OpenWepInterface or WebInterface on the vu+ultimo 4k server. If yes what to do with them. am a new starter here and would appreciate any help Thanks

1/I used open pli and open vix but did RCSC did not work. 2/ I know that I just need RCSC only on your Duo for importing the channellists from the Ultimo4k. This I did successfully. My problem is that the resulting remote channels do not open . When I click even an Fta channel I can see the recording yellow circle blinking for 5 seconds and then goes back to the logo screen but no streaming of picture. 3/ Does the image have to be the same for both server and client ?

Ultimo 4k (server) and RemoteChannel StreamConverter (RCSC) channels break up after 5 seconds. The RCSC is working and I can see the recording yellow circle blinking for 5 seconds and then goes back to the logo screen but no streaming of picture. I have tried both openpli and openVix latest versions with the different image running on each the Ultimo 4k (server) and Vu Duo (client) while I tried to run RCSC. Also RemoteChannel StreamConverter (RCSC) is installed on Duo Client only. LAN is shared…

Would my old Vu+Duo do the job instead of A Vu + Zero

Is it possible to watch vu + ultimo 4k in two rooms simultaneously. Noting that there is no scart, rca port for (video / audio) nor a second Hdmi out port. Noting also the the second Tv box is an old one with only an rca cable port. Thank you

With the introduction of 3G supprting images for Vu+duo such as (Gisclub 3G EDITION Vu+Duo Vu), How do we use the 3G feature on such image. I have a broadband (hspa+) usb dongle capable of connecting at an actual speed of 7 megabits/sec. Its Huawei e367. A stepwise tutorial for beginners would be highly appreciated. TIA

Hi, VTI 2.2 ,Meoboot and OpenPLi-2.0 Am very fond of openpli images. The most recent release " OpenPLi-2.0-beta-vuduo-20101207.nfi " works fine with Meoboot. It installs and boots well. All encrypted SD channels can be zapped. However, when it comes to zapping Encrypted HD channels it fails. I either get "service not found" or a "tuner failure" message. When I go to satpostioner I find that the HD chnnel has a 90%SNR but NOT LOCKED. My setup is as follows: VTI 2.2 in flash Meoboot version v0.96 …
