I have given up with VTI and Rytec - It worked for a few days and then would not load the EPG data - I have now gone over to the Vix Image as it works out of the box

weird - I am using the latest VTI image and it works

is it possible to set the VU+ Duo to split recordings into 5GB chunks?

how did you download them? Did you use the VTI Panel or download from the skins section? if you downloaded from the VTI panel they should be listed under skins. If they are not. Try and download them again and restart Enigma2. If you downloaded from skin section then you need to put them into /tmp and then login via telnet and type ipkg install /tmp/*.ipk

Can anyone confirm this on their box? I start recording a film/program/sport and during the recording I want to see the bitrate. To check the bit-rate I do it via the blue button (long press) then extensions comes up and I select bit-rate viewer. It flashes up and then disappears and the recording fails..

I wouldnt use filezilla mate - I would use dreamset 1: Open dreamset 2: Configure and test settings like in the pic 3: Open the lamedb from latest catseye settings 4: Click Transfer 5: Click Write 6: Once all have been uploaded restart Enigma2 and then you should be good to go

I have tested and not been able to make it work so maybe its not possible I think most people nowdays use Pre-Sorted channel lists like Catseye E2 Settings so there is no real need to search like your method.

I tried this and freezing gone: H.264/MPEG-4 AVC playback is too slow You can speed up the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC playback by disabling loop filter for H.264 decoding. To do this go to Tools -> Preferences... (set Show Settings to All) and Input / Codecs -> Other codecs -> FFmpeg and in the drop-down box for Skip the loop filter for H.264 decoding change it to All. Remember to press Save to save VLC settings and restart VLC after that to make sure changes are enabled.

sure there is hope - get yourself and RS232 cable and flash over Serial + Ethernet Also try press the power button on the remote? Try put the USB dongle in the back slot. Make sure the files are in the directory structure /vuplus/duo/ Good luck.. let us know how you get on..

is this only on sky_uk? - I noticed some issues on sky uk but other sats importing seem to be fine
