Hi all, I use the Pli last nightly build image.... I was wondering which dTV-HD skin i should use. There are 3 to choose from... dTV-HD dTV-HD-Reloaded dreamTV-HD I like using this skin...but... How is the BH image?

Hi all, Just to let you know.... I applied the Pli image from the 26th Feb... The image was working fine...i have catseye bouquets and channel listing setup. I have now just done a software update... Today....So i assume that will be from changes that were made to the image up to the 27th. Now ive zapped over to Sly Screen 1 (Movies channel), and when i want to zap over to Sky Screen 2 it comes up with 'Check tuner configuration'. Actually ...just done it.... i didnt install xmltvimport.... Doh!... Done...now i am going to download the data...see if it holds the data.

Right...Doh!... dunno what going on.... I have the lates pli nightly build. Everything is working fine so far.... 1. Timeshit working 2. Recording working - Zapped between channels. Now i cant get the rytec xmltv import application loaded up. I installed it via the plugins menu... And it does not show up. I installed it manuall using filebrowser and still does not show up? ANy ideas?

possibly.... i will deffinately give it a crack. Will prob try put on latest pli build tomorrow morning. Pli fairing ok now?

Will give this a whirl...But im sure that i have initiallised the drive before. Have you heard anyone else having any issues? Does it work fine with Pli.?

Please advise of your setup... connect motor to tuner B. otherwise and set long and lat. That should work. Setting for the tuner should be simple and then positioner

Hi All, I dont know if it is me only but...when i apply a update the data seems to be there for the epg. Then this data is lost when the box is off for a period of time. Is this normal? What should happen? Should the epg show the data straight away when accessing it? Why do i have have to manually update all the time? Is this a bug? Thanks.

Hi, If you look at the file... /etc/piconPaths.conf The file above will specify the default paths and you can change so that the picons sit on the HDD.

You can have a crontab..... you just need to create the folder structure..... /var/spool/cron/crontabs /var/spool is already there....you need to create /cron/crontabs within the folder /var/spool. Then you can run a crontab -e to edit roots crontab.

This is a great post. I'm trying to get this skin to work too. Can some post the content of the piconPATHS.conf file. Just as an example. I might give this a go tomorrow. I still don't get what is being said regarding the satellite names. Thanks.

Doh!... Tried to be clever and try another skin. the HD Glass skin. Bad move. Now the interface will not come up at all... Anyone know which config file holds the parameter to tell the box to boot up on a particular skin? Was thinking of FTP'ing the file over and modifying with default skin. Thanks. Please help...

Lol. Sorry. Yea. Vti 0.4. How ever if I go in to any menu the display on the box shows the function being used. For example 'software manager'. This will display 'software manager ' on the display. Now if I then exit out of the software manager I'd expect the channel name to show again. Ad you've guessed by now. It doesn't. Minor bug somewhere.
