Hallo zusammen, Versuchte gestern das VTI 9.0 zu flashen, aber leider mein Ultimo funktioniert nicht mehr. Das Flashen schließt ohne Probleme ab, aber nach dem aus und einschliessen des Gerätes, es fängt zum Booten an. Und danach nichts. Es scheint zum Booten aber nichts passiert, es geht nicht vor. Versuchte wieder das VTI 8.2 zum Flashen, aber ich habe das selbe Problem. Hat jemand eine Idee, was ich jetzt machen soll?

Hello Markus. Thanks for your support. I did try to go through the telnet, but the debug.log created mentioned that "enigma not found". I try to upload the debug and crash log, if they can help at all. The whole issue, seems now to be linked with the encoded channels. It does it again after several seconds, but doesnt crash, it still allows me to change channels. In the free channels, there is no issue. Concerning the network, I disabled the DHCP option and i chose a specific IP. Dreamboxedit do…

I currenly use the Ultimo as a DVB-C receiver and was planning on installing the S component in a month. However, this locking up after a few minutes in all images, is very troublesome. @ markusw: I will go ahead with a fixed IP, but I feel its part of the locking up issue. Is there any way to rule out any hardware issues ? Is there a fault-code log that I can try to get and upload here to have a look at ?

Hello. I have had my VU ultimo for almost 2 weeks now, and had installed the latest VTI image. Suddenly, I lost reception, the no signal came up and then it interchanges with Wait CI picture. In this case I have to switch it off through the switch in the back, since it does not respond to its controller and then on again. It seems to operate for 1-2 minutes and then the same problem. Simple dear Nestor If I am to pay my precious 400+ Euros for a sat receiver, I want to make sure that my investment will not be depreciated within a day, just because a newer more capable or even a more flashy receiver decided to show up ! I want to make sure that what I pay is what I get, for the foreseeable future of the next 6-12 months ! Is this reasonable enough ?

Absolutely no need to be sarcastic. Some of us know stuff and want to share, some of us know stuff and do not want to share, some of us know nothing. Of course it is quite obvious that even a rumour of an upcoming new receiver will drop the sales of the current model. However, we are NOT paid by Vu (or are we ?), so it is in our interest to share what we know or what we suspect
